Proxy Help

This is a How-To set up proxy with RatioMaster 1.4 (this How-To was created on April 12th, 2006 and is based for a Windows pc)

Ok lets begin...

1st, download RatioMaster 1.4 and install the .NET version 2 if needed from microsoft.

2nd, you will need to download Tor. I would suggest getting the Tor + Privoxy + TorCP bundle since. This is for the basic beginners out there. Heres the link to the latest stable release Tor & Privoxy & TorCP bundle 0.1.0.17. We will leave all the default settings with Tor. So just install it and lets goto the next step.

3rd, If TorCP was not started goto TorCP in the start menu and load it. It will load into the taskbar its a white onion and a green circle with a check in it.

4th, Now Load up RatioMaster. When it loads goto the network tab. Now set the setting as i show.

Proxy Type: SOCKS5

Host: 127.0.0.1

Port: 9050

Make sure to leave the User: and Password: textbox's empty.

Well thats all to making RatioMaster 1.4 work with a proxy. Although i will say this some private sites like FileList, Bitsoup, Torrent-Boost, etc... check to see if you are connecting from the same ip as you logged into the site with. If you have this problem you will need to use the Tor proxy with your browser so both have the same ip.
